Register for the Roosevelt Girls - JV team initially.  After tryouts, DiscNW will use the coaches’ rosters to move players between Varsity and JV teams. 

If you attend a school other than RHS, please follow “free agent” instructions on the DiscNW website.

You must be registered with DiscNW to attend tryouts.

Tuesday, 2/27, Lower Woodland Playfield #7, 7:00-9:00PM

Thursday, 2/29, Magnuson Field #6, 7:00-8:45PM

JERSEYS

Players will need both a black and a white jersey.  (Players may wear black/white shirts if they do not have a jersey.)  More information will be shared after tryouts.  Direct any questions about jersey orders to Lisa Barnett at lisa.barnett.mom@gmail.com.  

TEAM FEES

Team Fees cover the costs of hiring coaches and renting practice/game fields.  

Team Fees for the 2024 spring season are $450 for Varsity and $350 for JV.    As the varsity season extends longer, varsity fees are higher.  Scholarships are available.  

Team fees should be paid by Wednesday, March 6 at 9pm.

• Write your player’s name in the Notes field, so we can track payments.

We are incredibly lucky to have access to high quality, professional Ultimate player/coaches and our teams have benefitted from outstanding coaching.  

Spring 2024 Varsity Coaches:  Khalif El-Salaam and Kelly Marshall.  

Spring 2024 JV Coaches:   Bonnie Ho and Annie van den Berg.   

Captains are chosen by players and coaches based on experience, leadership, and spirit of the game.  

Spring 2024 Varsity Team Captains:  Nora and Charlotte.
